        Student Life Awards Nomination Packet

Dear Student,

The Honors and Awards Convocation will again feature the presentation of awards that recognize distinguished contributions and service by student organizations and students in co-curricular activities.

You will find the Student Life Awards nomination forms on the web by clicking the links below.  Please review these forms carefully and consider your nominations.  Click the submit button at the bottom of each form once completed.  Preference is given to students with grade-point averages of 2.5 or better. 

• Guy W. Wilson Award for Student Service to the College

  • The Guy W. Wilson Award is presented annually to a Penn State Behrend student for outstanding service and achievements in improving the campus community.
• Best Student Organization
• Best Student Organization Advisor
• Student Activities Leadership Award
  • The Student Activities Leadership Awards are presented annually to a Penn State Behrend student and/or student organization demonstrating outstanding leadership in the area of student activities programming.
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Service Award
  • This award is presented annually to the student organization and/or individual student best promoting social justice through service activities and programs, as exemplified by the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr.
• Most Outstanding Student Organization President
• Most Outstanding Student Organization Officer (Non-President)
• Most Outstanding Student Organization Member (Non-Officer)

• Outstanding Fraternity/Sorority Chapter Award

• Most Creative Program Award

  • The Most Creative Program Award is presented annually to a student organization that has sponsored the most creative and successful program during the fall and/or spring semesters.

• Outstanding Adult Learner Award
